I have been coming to Eastern Promise from way back when, with my Scottish Dad who doesn’t like it anywhere else. It’s one of those places that just make you feel like you’re back in the pubs of UK. So it’s always been our tradition to get beers and OF COURSE; THE CURRY (SO FREAKIN GOOD) we are never disappointed! My Dad recently passed away and I still visit for a beer and of course the curry when I can. Man, I got to say, hits me right in the heart. Good memories and good food. Missing my Dad very much tonight, so honoring him with some good old Chicken Tikka Masala that I ordered as a takeaway. Cheers EP!

I've just been at your bar together with my wife and 14 year old daughter from Holland because she is here on a holiday and wanted to enjoy a "broodje kroket" before returning to Holland tomorrow. As newcomers we had no idea that every Friday between 5 and 6 pm there is this crazy game called pressure hour. Nobody told us about it until the moment we wanted to leave the place just before 5 because we finished our food. We were all of a sudden informed about the so called rules of engagement and we were told that it would not be wise to go because that would at the same mean this so called game of unlimited drinking has to come to an end. Because my daughter didn't feel like witnessing all kinds of drunk people in that hour and also because I will not be intimidated by anyone, we decided to pay and leave. What happened after that can best be described as an attempt to have a lynch party. People inside the bar were yelling and screaming and physically trying to stop us from walking out the door. I can say this was one of the most frightening and intimidating moment in my life. I was also scared what effect this would have on my 14 year old daughter. As I'm writing this I can still feel the adrenaline pumping through my body. This is one crazy place where I will never set one foot inside again. In Holland something like this would not even be allowed where you are intimidated, threatened and forced to do something against your free will. Probably within no time the place will be shut down down by the authorities, because what Eastern promise is doing here is a criminal offence.

Service wise, normally its a bit clumpsy but last time i went here d service was great. They must have done alotnof training to improve their staff. What impressed me the most is their signature dish, chicken tika masala. Ate this dish numerous times and d flavour is indeed consistent. I have to say this is d best tika masala u can get in town. Ive been to many countries, none serves the dish as well as how they do it here at eastern promise. Will definitely be back there and order d same food over and over again

Makanannya enak2, curry nya gak bau dan rasanya mild dan ga bikin enek, roti naan garlic n cheese nya juga enak banget 👍👍 recommended! Bakalan balik kesini lagi 😊

Ordered Grilled BBQ Pork and fish n chip.Pork never turn me down. Matengnya pas, kekenyalannya cucokkk 💕 so juicy.Fish n chip was okay.The ambience is 👍👍👍👍👍Dari luar mungkin keliatan agak sempit, tapi kalo ditelusuri, so cool. Temanya kayak bar bar jadul di europe gituuuu. Ada restaurant non smoking, front bar , sport bar yang mirip front bar tapi ada billiard dan tv untuk nonton liga bola mungkin(?), dan garden yang ada live music dengan suasana semi outdoor.Kemarin kesini sekitar 3pm, agak sepi. Pengen next cobain kesini pas lagi jam malam 👍

Pelayanan tdk baik waiters nya jutek sombong masa kita cm order one glas softdrink pelayanan judes kita kan ga minta gratis hanya dia mandang buat bule2 atau orng yg .minum banyak baru welcome manager cewknya jg sama tlng di review pelayanannya. Waiters tlng diberikan training

Waiters are toooooo racists, last night is my first time came to this pub.. and i have a very unpleasant moments, yes we local ladies who come to visit the pub only for drink and music.. they ask us to pay straight after order even we have the table and didnt give us check like others table and we will pay after we finish.. they insist us to pay directly. . Its very unpolite.. do the waiters, manager and owner thinks that the local ladies dont have money to spend??? every pub or club i came never treat us like this.... we complained to the waiter about their attitude and they said we have to complain to their manager.. well.. im very disappointed with this pub..
