Not many Indonesians know the beauty of Greek cuisine. But for people who is willing to give this cuisine a try, Gyros Alley is definitely the place to try this marvellous cuisine.Gyros Alley is a Greek restaurant that is located at the heart of South Jakarta in Dharmawangsa. For me personally, I really like the design of the restaurant as it gives the essense of being in Greece. However in-compare to El Greco (another Greek restaurant located at Setiabudi Building) the food choices in the menu is limited and while in El Greco there are a wholesome of food choices of Greek cuisine there.Me and my girlfriend ordered lamb Gyros Platter and a new menu which I can't recall its name but it cointains a skewered sirloin, salad and rice. Noth dishes taste great.The one thing that kinda bugs me is the music there, as it was a little bit loud. However me and my boo had really a great time there :)

So far this one serves the best greek cuisine in town. Loving the interior of the restaurant, minimalist yet cozy. I ordered their Lamb Gyros Platter, and was sooo amazed by the taste of it. One of freshest salad I ever taste in a course. I think it was served with goat cheese? Well it tasted really good, and that's only the salad. But the lamb thoo! Really really nice and tender, and so yummy. With a side of fries, cream cheese, and pita bread, I really love it! Will definitely come back. :)

I admit that I haven't had a lot of experience with Greek Food, but from what I tasted during my first visit to Gyros Alles ... they tasted good! I ordered three menus, Lamb Gyros Platter, Falafel, and Strawberry Kefir Lassi. When I visited, it was quiet, although it was lunch time. So the foods came quick.Lamb Gyros Platter [65k ++]The lamb was good. The french fries crunchy and tasty. The pita bread tasted right for my palate. But the salad was the best thing from all. It was so fresh, simply delicious!Falafel [45k ++]I wouldn't know how to compare falafel because this was the first time I ever had it. I don't have any reference on how it should taste but I liked it.Strawberry Kefir Lassi [35k ++]Oh, this one, wonderful, WONDERFUL drink! I loved it.So I had great food experience. The place was a little dark for me though (and I came at noon), and the AC wasn't as cold as I prefer it too for a restaurant.

Kesini karena penasaran pengen nyobain makanan Yunani dan ternyata Souvlaki nya enak ditambah dengan mix berry kefir nya yang seger banget. Nyams!

Trying gyros alley for the first time. The place is at the corner and not that visible, but the place inside is pretty comfortable i must say.The decoration inside is quite mediterranean with the greek design couch and brick walls eith greek gravity on it. Very cozy 👍Anyway, i tried the gyros platter and honey mustard chicken breast (i want to try the chicken skewers at first, but they are not makin the skewers anymore). The foods took just a while to be served, and smells and looks awesome. Very authentic. I also ordered baklava as the dessert and they are so cute and pretty, but taste pretty good.Anyway, a very good place to dine. Very recommended. 👏👏

Kesini buat cobain karena di recommended ama temen....tempatnya kecil banget,tapi karena decornya simple keliatan luas...pesen lamb gyros platter nya luar biasa enak good seasoning n ga bau.... fallafel nya too dry jadi seret kalo dimakan...sause tzatziki nya nice pas banget (sedikit asam dan full bawang putih) selera gw banget....mushroom soup nya the best,anak gw sampe minta tambah lagi.....pasti gw bakalan balik lagi buat makan gyros n mushroom soupnya...

Gyros Alley ini nempatin lokasi lamanya Coffeebeerian kesini karena penasaran sama makanannya yang bertemakan masakan Yunani. Interiornya sih lucu ya ala ala Santorini gitu. Ternyata makanannya gak beda jauh sama masakan TimTeng, saya cobain Gyros Platter Falafel gitu kebetulan belum pernah cobain falavel. Enah juga ternyata, padahal iti terbuat dari kacang lentil dimashed terus dicampur bumbu2 gitu. food is so good and serves a big portion, definetly underrated. The price is simmilar with burger king but the taste and the venue is ten times better.

Gyros Alley's main selling point is the uniqueness of the cuisine it serves in contrast to its surrounding environment. There are not many places to get greek cuisine as good as in Gyros Alley. Coming here late at night, the ambience was lovely. The interior design was good, and the noise level was nonexistant (10PM night). I ordered the gyros souvlaki lamb and the spanakopita. Both contained very strong flavours which was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed the food. Overall, the waiting time for the food wasn't that long, but then again it was 10PM. I would highly encourage you to try this restaurant if you haven't done so already. Definitely coming back here in the future with friends and family. :)
