came here to meet up with my pals. both of us love indian food and we decide to have our late-lunch/early dinner here.when i first entered the restaurant no other visitors than me, yes, i was there alone with the waitress. i then look at the menu while waiting for my friend to come. when she arrived, we just ordered several foods (appetizer, main course, and dessert). long review short, i totally in love with all of the foods that they served, simply because everything served pretty quick and the seasoning just perfect. i definitely going to come back there sometime soon because i love indian food and this place is vegetarian, yum!

Do you like Indian food?Do you like synthethic (vegetarian) meat?Do you like cozy restaurants? If you answer "yes" to any of those questions, come eat here.During my uni years, I ate Indian food very often. There aren't many good and reasonably priced Indian restaurants in Jakarta, so I'm a bit bummed by that. I'm very happy to find this place as my quest is finally over. I'm primarily a meat eater, but the fake meat here has good texture so I'm not bothered in the slightest at the fact that it's not meat. The restaurant itself is super cozy, making it a great place to hang out with friends and family.

I have always been a fan of Indian food. I can never order the more exotic dishes without the help of pictures, but I tend to like almost all Indian dishes. So this time, I decided to try out an Indian Restaurant that is like 5 minutes walking distance from my house. I ordered a take-out, and I ordered the "basic": Chicken Curry, Cheese Biryani Rice, 3 kinds of Naan: Butter, Plain, Garlic. When trying out new Indian Restaurants, I tend to test just these items. If they can do this right, most likely they can do the rest well. And, the Verdict: Finger-Lickin' Good, literally. I have been to a few famous Indian restaurants in Jakarta: the ones at Hotels, the one in Kemang, the one in Malls. But I have always like the neighborhood Indian restaurants; the ones that don't have fancy decors. And Le Mint is another example of great, no-nonsense neighborhood Indian Restaurant just like Koh Eh Noor at Pasar Festival. I was eating the food with all my five fingers deep in the chicken curry with my Naan. In my Indian Food Adventures throughout the years, I realized one thing: the longer the "smell" of the spices stays on my fingers, the more I tend to like the food. Le Mint's food smell stayed on my fingers for 3 days even after regular showers and frequent hand wash. This is a great Indian restaurant. A Hidden Gem of a Place! Highly Recommended.

I tried both chinese and indian food there last week (during public holiday, Hari Raya). Their vegetarian food taste good but they have poor services. Wrong input in billing and services took very long. They have various menu but they don't have explanation on the menu and only have few photos, so you have to ask them if you want to know more. Since I am not familiar with indian food, I asked them few of it. I was served by Mr. Anton, I suppose he is the restaurant manager. Mr. Anton is a kind person who wants to serve everyone. Unfortunately he is not multitasking person and gets easily distracted. While I asked him about the menu details, his handphone rang and he answered it with chit chat for awhile, afterwards the owner of the restaurant ordered him to do few things, and then another customer came.. he lost his focus, and get back to me with my simple questions in almost half an hour. Whereas other staff look confused and lack of knowledge. The cashier don't know what to input in billing system, since they don't have the menu's name on the machine, and worst is I was charged for something I didn't ordered. Very terrible. I want to give 4 out of 5 for the food and 1.5 out of 5 for their services.

I always love Indian food. This place got some good ones! I had their Handi Briyani, Chicken Tika Masala and Garlic Naan. It was all good. Loved the naan in particular, I even ordered another one with cheese. The owner was friendly. They also have baby chairs so this place is good for kids too. Will be coming back for sure.
