Suka banget sama design resto ini. Biarpun tempatnya ga begitu luas tapi interior nya berasa mewah. Utk weekend pasti selalu waiting list.Rasa makanan disini enak2 apalagi utk pastry nya juara krn emang cacaote juara soal dessert atau pastry.Duck milanese (agak ragu bener apa enggak namanya hihi): 115k. Rasa bebek nya enak banget bentuknya fillet terus ditepung, side dishes nya salad sama kentang gitu rasanya nya juga enak, dilengkapi sambal paprika gitu makin2 enaknya.Ice white chocolate: 45k. Rasanya enak namanya juga white chocolate pasti juara dalam bentuk apapun heheChamomile tea: 45k. Chamomile tea is a best tea!

Tempatnya super kecil apparently, tapi cozy and interiornya cantik. Pesen:1. Cappucino. Yang minum bukan saya, tapi temen saya bilang si kurang begitu enak. Banyak robustanya katanya.2. Mocktail summer paradise. Ga terlalu enak haha: 3/53. Duck leg. Ini porsinya... Umm standard si ga ampe gede banget tapi juga ga small. Rasanya quite oke: 3.5/54. Buttermilk fried chicken. Okay sumprit porsinya bener-bener kayak liliput. Cuma paha ayam kecil 2 biji sama fries :"( nangissssss. 2.5/55. Spaghetti carbonara. This is the worst of all. Saucenya kentellll banget sampe seret banget makannya dari gigitan pertama. I've never tasted such spaghetti carbonara before I swear :( bener-bener ga recommended, saya ga suka sama sekali: rating 1/5.6. Dessertnya strawberry cheesecake choux sama tiramisu choux, yang strawberry so so, yang tiramisu I gotta admit enakkk! 4/5Overall ratingnya kebantu dessert dan interiornya, tapi sorry to say kalo dari segi makanannya nothing special.

I was here for tea time and thankfully the restaurant was not packed, we were immediately seated. We have lunch before so we dedicated our stomach solely for cake and pastry. 1. Salted Caramel EclairCacaote eclair is no the fluffly and soft eclair, it goes to the hard and crunchy type of eclair. At first the eclair seems tough and hard to chew, actually it isn't taste as tough as their look. The filling cream is creamy with a subtle taste of sweet and salty caramel. 2. Cacaoté :The chocolate taste is intense! Recommended for those who love chocolate. However I am failed to identified what they claimed as seven layer. Maybe it is just me, I thought each layer taste the same. Oh well, I still consider cacaote as one of the best chocolate cake I have ever tasted. 3. Dark Chocolate & HazelnutPretty dome-like cake with gold dust sparkle that is really instagram and stomach worthy. This is the reason why I come back to cacaote, it is the best hazelnut and chocolate cake I have ever had. The mousse is soft and creamy, the sweetness itself is not overwhelming, balanced well with subtle bitter taste of dark chocolate. What I really love is the thin crunchy crepe bits that lay on the bottom of the cake, delicious to boot!4. Choux Pastry - lychee rose Really love the combination of the pasty and the filling. The pastry is crunchy, it has similar texture with the eclair. The filling itself is really killing, I can taste subtle taste of rose and it really does well with the sweet lychee taste. 5. Maui to GeorgiaThis smoothies consist of Peach, pineapple, and yogurt. It is sweet and refreshing, the sourness from the pineapple balance well with the sweetness of peach and honey. Overall, really satisfied with St. Germain Cacaote. Although both St. Germain and Cacaote both offer the same quality of food, I must say that from service alone St. Germain is far ahead of Cacaote.

Terrible experience. I dine on Wednesday Aug 26 2015 at St.Germain, Grand Indo using voucher that i got from disdus. Total spending incl voucher is IDR460K for 3. My Duck Leg Confit was not properly cook so the middle part is still frozen. No apologies from the manager. Even need to reconfirm when i want to change my order to the aglio olio. Overall, the drinks was just so so, the butter milk chicken is so so, the only good thing was just the dessert.

First time to this reataurant, bought a voucher from groupon. I had buttermilk fried chicken,iced green tea latte and coffee choux for dessert. order extra pork carbonara for my BF. Taste is good.Service took so long just asking for chili sauce.

Tried the Groupon's menu which surprisingly doesn't included in their real menu lol. Duck Milanese was good, but the ratatouille tasted better. Mine is Buttermilk Fried Chicken that has a great not-over-salty-crunch but it's still raw. Great disappointment. We got choux for dessert which is good, love the crunchy texture from the pastry. The fillings are vanilla and strawberry cheesecake, not over-sweetened just the way I like. Maybe will visit again for the real menu.

Today I visited St Germain for lunch - the ambiance was classic and quite fancy. They have both casual outdoor (out of the store) and classic indoor area.First of all I wasn't impressed by one of the waiter (couldn't recall her name) - not as friendly as her colleagues, but the one on the dessert section was very friendly.Secondly, please have in mind this is a kind of makan cantik restaurant, so please dont expect seeing food with gigantic portion, okay? So I ordered duck confit and duck milanese - and for dessert I had choux pastries.Duck confit was okay - the duck was well cooked and seasoned, but the sauce was a little bit ungenerous. It comes with 3 slices of sauteed potato (see! Makan cantik)Duck Milanese was standard - I was expecting something more than what I got on my plate. As usual you'd find a medium sized duck fillet fried till golden served with ratatouille, salad, and 3 slices of potato. On the top of the duck meat they add a very little and ungenerous (again) mozzarella cheese - but it was super super ungenerous.Choux pastries were good - cacaote is popular for its dessert! I saw several choices of fillinga from fruit, hazelnut, coffee, strawverry cheesecake, manggo vanilla, lychee, and some others which I forget. I had fruit choux and lychee rose choux. Well honestly I removed all the cream in the pastry and just had the pastry itself - and it was good. I think for me, I would order the fruit choux as it has less cream in it.One plus thing I spotted is that they serve their foods on a warm plate (which is a very good standard to maintain the quality of the food.Overall the food was so so but the dessert was great

The ambience was quite nice, the waiters was very friendly. I have to admit that the price is a bit pricey though.I tried the desserts:Tiramisu hot cakes: It was quite delicious, the hotcakes was not too thick or thin, and has this moist yet chewy texture. I'd love it more if they have a hint of baileys/more kahlua though. The plating was quite beautiful!La parisiene: The drink was very refreshing! it was not too sweet and was bit sour but no overly sour. I'll recommend this to anyone!Overall the place is very nice to hangout and spend some time with your friends or have some casual business meeting :)
