I have been there for three times and still don't like the place. the food was just OK with moderate price (just the typical of Senopati food prices) but the size was TOO SMALL with that price. so, in my opinion it's not worth it. it was quite hard to call the waitress because the music was TOO LOUD (it's even hard to talk with each other) and i was seated on the lower ground floor. however, I love the place atmosphere, fancy yet classic decor, wood with black and gold colour was a good match though!

I believe The Momo was those semi-fine dining restos, which explains the pretty food presentation, small portion, and of course the price.I went here twice for lunch. Both visits didn't disappoint at all! We sat at the edge of the smoking area, just because of the pretty interior (read: instagenic background), where it was protected by glass roof. Freaking big bugs the size of a thumb:(Food was amazingg! Go by their recommendations, all my orders are the recommendations and they're superb!Despite the price, I am happy to say that this is one of those overpriced restos worth going to!

This place is more like a bar than a restaurant i suppose. The design is fancy, glam and dark since the concept is about Geisha(Japanese prostitute). So bad i went there when i was full(after yoshinoya), i only ordered grilled chicken(6/10) and beef curry spagheti(8.5/10). Mmm the spagheti was rather mind-blowing sih considering the price and the look, for me. Ya it's a good place to eat and meet ur friends. I bet the bar is even better!

I wouldn't mind going there if I'm invited but I would never attempt to go there the 2nd time. Food is very oily, Sushis are way too big, most of the appetizers are fried. Really enjoyed the Curry served in Hot Pot. Other than that the food is average. place is a very good hang out and great ambience.

I came here with two friends for an early dinner yesterday evening. Safe to say, we were disappointed.Let me elaborate further.Truth be told, we were pretty excited to try what seemed at first like a promising modern-looking izakaya. We started with some craft beer (120k++) -- I ordered a pretty fantastic BB pale ale. Very fruity, but yummy. Unfortunately, that woulf be the evening's only highlighy as the rest of the meal would prove to be lacklustre... and even that might be a flattering sentiment, considering. Then, we went on to order tapas. We started with 5 dishes, hoping to order more as the menu seemed fairly promising despite the rather lofty prices. Now, the first dish was the Salmon and Tuna Carpaccio. Plating was done reasonably well, the dim lighting and flickering candlelight painting the dish in an subdued, attractive glow. Alas, the glamour evaporated instantly when we tried the dish. The fish no longer had any springiness, with a texture you could describe as mushy or spongy. The vinaigrette was decent, but the dish was doused excessively to the point that the flavout of the fish was completely smothered. In hindsight, that might have been intentional.Next up was the Roast Nigirizushi. Now, I am a big fan of Nigiri, and have oft sampled fantastic sushi both classic and inspired, simple and complex. This dish came in 3 pairs of sushi that were blatantly overdone, with none of the attractiveness one would expect from a sushi plate. One taste was all it took before I spat the entire mouthful into my napkin. Pungent, stale, fishy, and overpoweringly salty. Pretty horrible, and it pretty much ruined my night. I was shocked and appalled, but there were three dishes to go.Our third dish was the Chicken Kushiyaki -- or Yakitori. A highly recommended food item, presented as 4 sticks of satay. One chicken ball, one plain chicken, one chicken negi, and one chicken wing. The chicken balls were dry and uninspiring. The chicken skewers had a very distinctive aroma I've come to recognise from my own fiascos in the kitchen -- the meat obviously hadn't been brined. An amateurish mistake. I couldn't bring myself to try the wings. Two left. Our penultimate dish was a chicken nanban. Now, tha nanban... the sauce was admittedly pretty good, with a hint of matcha that brought a level of complexity that outlined the sweet mayonnaise. Unfortunately, the batter was cooked in oil that was obviously of insufficient heat. Very greasy, and smelled terrible. What a waste. You would think that it had been slathered in oil after it had been plated -- it was that bad. Finally, the seafood butter chawanmushi. Well, what can I say. Though apprehensive, we had come too far to not at least give it a try. And butter was right. The dish was very heavy-handed, with none of the delicacy or sense of refinement you'd expect from a steamed egg dish. Very distastefully unctuous. All in all, a very disappointing experience. Would never visit again. I highly recommend giving this place a pass to anyone who isn't a culinary masochist. Even for a place without their level of decor and pricing, I would expect a reasonable level of quality in their cooking. Completely unacceptable.Verdict: 1.5, if only because they stock two decent brands of craft beer.
