I've often hangout here to the point of the waiter no longer ask me whether or not I'm going to order a glass of soda susu.Apparently there's also a screening room that often turn into makeshift praying room.AMBIENCEIf you've yet to be here, there are two types of ambience depending on floor: a bright but bland first floor, or cozy but dim (often smoke-heavy) on the second - the more Insta-able one. And yes, there are literally THOUSANDS of books, although some of the more notable ones are limited to familiar patrons.DELICACYI'll stick to my frequent meals since I'm already familiar with its consistency.Onion ringsJust your average deep-fried rings of onion. That's all.Spaghetti agli olioThe pasta is grocery story special, but you'll soon forgive how the other ingredients are able to deliver the right spiciness and freshness. While not the best in the South Jakarta, it's worth a try.Nasi goreng seafoodWell, if you ever have breakfast at four star hotels, then it shouldn't take a chef's tongue to notice the softer rice and less oily texture, sending a milder taste to your taste buds unlike those from street vendors. Since I'm always ask for half-cooked egg, too bad the cook often overdone it.Hot cappuccinoThe coffee is unmistakably a cappuccino: sweet and creamy. It's basic, not a bad thing but not something to be write home about. Lovely aroma, though.Es soda susuA plain soda with condensed milk. Self-explanatory, really.SERVICEThe waiters are all chill and won't ruin your day. But for the love of G-Dragon, change the playlist! I can't fathom why it's always that Harry Styles' song that plays at around 9.30 PM - different musical styles won't hurt as long as it's not some artists with tree branches as its font.PRICEWhile not really cheap, it's not prohibitively expensive for proletariats like me. What you pay is more for ambience and crap ton of books.TL;DRThe Reading Room is one cozy spot (second floor) with average food and okay price. It's a place that read-y to satisfy bibliophile in you.

The ambience me likey, a bit dim tho we weren't really reading here. The AC is warm at noon, the evening is better. The food a bit pricey and so so. But the deal breaker was, we were fiddling around with our phone and find this tv wifi casting that is connected with their tv(main source of music cafe background). We play around playing just one song (a frank ocean's one), a minute later the staff change it again and look over our table with such judgmental pair of eyes and moving mouth, most likely cursing. Man we were irked.Oh the toilet doesn't smell which is a big plus.

aaaaaa suka banget sama tempatnya. tenang, dingin, nyaman. enak banget buat kerja, buat baca buku sambil makan❤️ jangan khawatir, bagi kalian yang suka banget membaca. disana banyak banget buku yang bisa kalian pinjam buat baca. tapi setelah kalian keluar atau hendak pulang. jangan lupa dibalikin ke tempat semula iya luv😊🌈

Expected the place to be comfy and quiet, but maybe it was not the right time for me to come. It was crowded even we found a hard time to park our car. The waffle tastes bland and they put a very small amount of ice cream for the waffle. Expected better than what they served.
