Finding the restaurant using website is a waste of time as you wind up about 300 mtrs away from where it actually is.It's a bit run down but the service was prompt. The staff isn't doesn't have a lot of experience dealing with expats but we got around that fairly easy.I ordered the "Volcano" burger "Well Done". I was surprised when the burger was served that it had been cooked "Well Done" because most Indonesian restaurants still serve "Rare" as "Well Done".The burger was way too big for the little wooden board that it was served on as they wasn't much room left for the fries. Also the 250gr/8oz patty is too big and mine kept sliding out making it difficult to eat.Would I go back? Most likely not; however it is "value for the money" and should do great catering to the "local" market.

DO NOT order any of the juniors on an empty stomach. Go with the monster. Service was quite slow but the full patty and fragrant buns was well worth it. Right next to barrosie dry cleaning and across circle K.

Been here for two times, best burger i've ever had..juicy lucy monster and the republican monster burger are the two top burgers in here, the downside of this place is that the place is quite small and slightly hard to find and the service is quite slow other than that everything is absolutely perfect and btw this is for people who loves to eat big portions :D

junior burger is big enough for me. home made sauce sooo yummy. best home made burger so far. potato fries is good, try the breezee for drink. soo fresh

Nutella freeze is my fave here! Ice tea caramel is okay, and for me who often eat burger, the portion of the burger are big enough to make me full. Love it!!

Is it better than regular burger like Burger K*ng or C*rl's? Yes!!Is it good? YesIs it the best burger that you've ever tried? NoOverall I like the burgerThe patty is juicy and tenderBut I don't know what butter that they used to grill their bunsThe smell was so strongBut I love this placeSmall restaurant with warm ambianceAnd the price also reasonableWill be back for sure ;)

Best burger ever!! I've tried 2 kind of monster burger. The first one is juicy lucy monster, i love the way the cheese melted after i bite the beef. But for you who want bigger, you can choose the republican monster with wagyu, double cheese, and ham. But if you prefer smaller burger you can choose for junior burger.

The republic of burger! Le república de hamburguesa! A restaurant that actually focuses on its decent burgers! Couldn't be more happier having you guys in town.I visited the fatmawati store for the first time, its location is kinda dodgy you have to keep your eyes open to find this small store/shack or whatever you want to call it, if you drive a car, i recommend you to visit after business hours or on weekends for easier parking, it's really really a tight spot. The interior and atmosphere of the shop itself gives somewhat a homey rustic kind of feeling which is nice. The food they offer are concise and reflects the name of the restaurant well, as strange as it may be, there are so many restaurant in jakarta that doesn't have a clear concept of what type of food they are serving. So, the menu, an excellent range and choices of burgers, sliders, fries, wings the typical choices you might get in a decent named-after-a-burger kind of shack. The pasta is the only menu that doesn't make sense and in my opinion is unnecessary, you put "burger" in your shack's name, people are gonna come and look for a burger, most of them probably won't give a rat's ass about the pastas, thank God its only a page short. Now, the main dish for this review, the food. I ordered myself the monster, i'm awed by the presentation, rustic, appetising and clean, not to mention its constant on all plates, or boards. One thing tho', and by one thing i mean one thing from some other things i'm gonna mention later on, okay, so my food came at the same time with other guests who came in and ordered their food 15-20 minutes after i ordered, not cool mate not cool. The fries is nice, crispy and fluffy and perfect amount of that herby seasoning sprinkled on top of it. To the burger! Swoosh! Thick ass patty, juicy, ticked. Melted cheese, ticked. Buns, toasted, ticked. However, the heels (bottom bun) is very very very soggy, it is drenched and soaked with the sauce. I want to eat the burger with my hand, like it should be, not a knife and fork, it fell apart when i tried to eat it with my hand, the sauce should be put on the crown part of the bun, and not too much it got all over the place, just a decent amount to give flavour and moisture. The barbecue sauce i choose is more like an onion relish than a barbecue sauce, but it's your interpretation of the sauce so i'll leave it there. I don't know about the others, but my patty, is uneven in thickness, it's not an issue for me at that time but it could be one if i'm gonna order different doneness to the meat. And it's packed with, a lot, i mean A LOT, of peppercorns. I got chunks of peppercorns in a bite... All in all, it is very nice to have a proper burger shack in Jakarta, considerable price, good meat, and everything. I hope the critiques i wrote doesn't piss you off that much, its just i really like burgers and am still searching for that perfect burger. Can't wait for my next visit and try other menus from The Republic of Burger!

Dari barat sengaja jauh2 ke selatan buat ngerasain nih burger. Pesen menu "The Republican Monster" with "Nutella Freeze". Maknyuuusss... daging sama saosnya enak banget, trus nutella nya enak banget banget. Pec-cuaaahhh..
