I have visited in a last week to UDUPI SHREE KRISHNA JAKARTA... It's not only a restaurant.. It's a brand for Very Good South Indian food with excellent location. I like to have Indian foods. In this restaurant food is so Delicious such as paper Sada dosa and all kind of dosas and south Indian foods in great prices. We can get north Indian food also in a very smart price with a great taste. I love it....... Once you visit definitely you will look back...

Best Indian food in all of Jakarta by far... I ate here and thought I'd fallen sleep and woke up in Chennai. Definitely recommended for anyone trying to settle an Indian food craving in Jakarta.

What a memorable dinner this evening. Straight to the point, cheese masala dosa was excellent! However I have noticed that the aloo masala stuffing was toned down in the spiciness, compared to months ago when the last time I visited this place. Dosa batter was perfectly made with that unique tanginess and crispy texture. Combined with the sweet and tangy sambhar, rich yet refreshing coconut chutney and earthy onion and ginger chutney, it was a meal that transformed my memory back home to India! Unbelievably the best dosa I have tasted in the whole Indonesia so far. To tone down Jakarta's humid weather, refreshing Dahi Vadey was selected as a cooling snack. This place offers the South Indian style dahi vadey (closely similar to Hyderabadi style dahi vadey). Very rich densely coconut loaded and lightly ginger laced vadey (rice and urad dal dumplings) soaked in sweet tangy yoghurt (dahi) with typical Hyderabadi style baghaar (tadka/ tempering) of mustard seeds, dry chillis, urad dal and curry leaves that add extraordinary flavour to this cold refreshing snack. The sad part was the Paneer Biryani however. Paneer cubes were very generous to be frank! And they were perfectly cooked with awesome texture and perfect fragrant masala. But the rice was extremely soggy, almost resembled khichhadi in softness and texture. Hence it was definitely not really a biryani, as good quality biryani should not be soggy at all and each rice grain should be separated perfectly. The accompaniments for the "biryani" however, were good: fresh sweet crispy raw shallots with a fresh slice of lime, home made really good tasting aam ka achaar (mango pickle), dahi ki chutney (onion and tomato raita) and a piece of locally Indonesian made jeera papad. Only if the biryani was really made properly, this whole set meal could win my heart over the dosa! Overall, I would not mind paying the prices if the qualities are improved near future, as how it was very satisfying few months back.

Indian Veg and non veg restaurant with neat and clean atmosphere, space is quite smaller than required.Veg restaurant High variety of veg dishes including north and south Indian varieties. Cost wise is bit higher than expected. Non veg Menu has lot of variety of dishes but when it comes to table we cannot feel the same taste what we expected. I suggest please improve dishes like biryani and other south Indian dishes.When compare to veg items non veg food quality should be raised to the standard.

Cukup bingung review resto ini :))) Udupi Shree Krishna..restoran vegetarian authentic makanan India, bukan termasuk makanan yang cocok di lidah saya. Bumbunya strong dengan taste yang unik. Nasi Briyani hijaunya lumayan enak, tapi pedas. Dosa salah satu menu yang diandalkan juga kurang cocok di lidah, ada rasa asam semacam Brem. Kemudian coba Naan (roti prata) dengan curry tahu..yang ini enak dan saya bisa menikmatinya. Sevice Ok, waitressnya melayani dengan sangat ramah dan product knowledgenya top. Harga ok.

Authentic South Indian and Fast food. The only restaurant in Jakarta where you can actually taste excellent Idli, dosas, vada pav, pav bhaji etc at its best. Apart excellent attention and service.
