Hallo! Mau review tempat makan di daerah Tebet, secara yang kita tau Tebet banyak banget cafe. Dan kemaren rencana buka puasa di Tebet sama temen-temen SMA di Umaku, Tebet samping Kopi Oey. Karena awalnya penasaran sering ngelewatin Umaku tapi enggak pernah nyobain, akhirnya deal lah buat kesini dan ternyata pas sampe tempatnya kecil banget dan kurang nyaman banget. Gak ngerti kenapa atau emang karena lagi buka puasa, pelayanannya lama bangettttttttt! Satu menu aja bisa keluar 30menitan, saking lamanya betelah kita karena makanan yang keluar satu-satu ga sekaligus banyak. Dan yang paling ngeselinnya lagi ac-nya ga nyala (mungkin rusak), intinya di Umaku Tebet ini sedikit bad service buat gue. 2 bintang buat japanese food ini.

Had lunch here, dan gue rasa gue akan kesini lagi nantinya. Pesen salmon fry, dan ternyata ada sauce sendiri gitu (rasanya asin gurih) yang bs dicocol. Superb! Ada banyak menu salmon yg bisa dipesen, tempatnya cozy (interiornya ngingetin gue sama Japanese resto yang di komik2) dan matcha smoothies disini bikin gue nagih, for sure. Manis susu ditambah aroma matcha ~

Favourite place for salmon sashimi. Good value for money, slightly more expensive than sushi tei and the likes, but definitely fresher.

Waktu itu dateng kesini buat makan siang sama temen-temen kantor. Tempatnya enak, nggak terlalu rame, dan lumayan bersih. Saya pesen Kare rice yang rasanya enak (karinya berasa banget dan katsunya pun renyah banget baru digoreng). Temen-temen yg lain pesen sushi dan ramen yang rasanya juga enak bgt.

Kunjungan kali ini merupakan kunjungan kali ke berapa bagi saya.Restoran umaki yang ditebet bersebelahan pas dengan kopi oey, sehingga memungkinkan para pelanggannya untuk memesan minum atau makanan lain dari kopi oey.Pada kesempatan kali ini, saya memesan 3 macam sushi yaitu scallop grill tobiko (33k), salmon spicy roll (29k), dan tako nigiri (17k).Untuk scallop dan salmon spicy roll merupakan menu favorit saya, terutama scallopnya.Scallop grill merupakan daging scallop yang telah dilumuri oleh mayo yang trlah dicampur tobiko kemudian di torch. Hmmm.. Enak sekali..Hanya satu yang disayangkan, tako gurita terasa sedikit amis di lidah saya.

I've tried Umaku for a gazillion times but I never got the chance to review and post a proper picture since I always in a super hungry mode when I went there. But this time I went there for a nice good lunch break (more like running away from those paperworks I guess) from my work. So I really spare much time to sit, order, taking pictures and eat.Umaku located in the same house with Kopi Oey at Jl. Tebet Raya. They are a small looking restaurant on the outside yet on the inside it is rather huge I must say. Their restaurant wall covered with a wallpaper of Japan's old newspaper and decorated with some Japanese ornaments such as lanterns, Japanese calligraphy and so on. I think the owner want to bring a Japan feeling to their customer but it just don't feel right. I'm not sure why but it just doesn't feel right.Some of the waiter were very helpful. They suggest the food based on what do we want and they were really really know the food. Too bad not all of them were like that. I went there for a couple times and I met a couple of impolite waiter. The kitchen were kinda slow too. I always thought it was because they were full house but when it was less crowded the kitchen still slow. Wondering why ...I was looking for a good fusion sushi that day, so I chose Volcano Roll to accompany me that afternoon and also the good old Chawan Mushi. The sushi and the chawan mushi were both nice. The sushi was so yumm I can't even stop myself from eating it in just 5 minutes. As for the chawan mushi it could be more soft and silky but to me this one was already yumm. Too bad the topping given was so limited that I could count the topping with just one hand.Since this place was just a few steps away from my workplace, I always run to this place when I need to getaway from my work for a while. This place serves us the best sushi taste among Tebet. But, unfortunately the aircon oftenly off.And I think, they need more employee since the customers need to wait for a long time.

BIASA AJAH!! not recomanded buat yg doyan sushi murmer. cukup 2x sih makan disini. hehehe... salmon sashiminya agak amis. dan irisannya terlalu tebal buat makanan yg uncooked. i dont like it

The food was good, the service was so so, but it make few time to make just 2 portion. Worth to try, especially the volcano roll. Well, the ambience is really good to stay long and hang out with friends
