Pffft. Plating makanannya gak beres. Kelihatan gak menarik. Rasa makanannya juga biasa aja. Gak sesuai ekspektasi. Mending makan di amigos. Harganya mahal pula. Gak banget deh. Untungnya ada free nachos with guacamole buat appetizer

The staff is friendly and courteous. Having lived in LA and visited Mexico, our bar is pretty high, so I have to be honest. No sour cream, no cilantro, no limes, no radishes or fresh jalapenos, and the guacamole was too wet, lacking key ingredients. After asking for extra chips and cilantro, we were told we'd be charged 25,000 for the cilantro alone- we didn't bother. The atmosphere is nice, but for this price, we were expecting authenticity, not salsa that resembled sambal.

Definitely living up to its expectation to be the best Mexican restaurant in Jakarta. Everything is full of flavour and well-cooked. From the nachos, quesadillas, tacos and fajitas. They are all amazing!! It's rather pricey therefore you should expect at least IDR 200k/pax.

I always love mexican food, they got that easy and modest feelin to it. As most of it comes from a very modest and humility background, like ours. We ordered a set menu comprising of:For appetizer we are served with green salad and some kind of soup. The soup was particularly peculiar, with a super tasty broth and sliced chicken wrapped in mozzarella. Kind of new for me, soup with mozzarella, but it taste great anyway. For main course we are served with fajitas de polo. A very tender and juicy chicken breast with mexican-ish sauce taste of tomato and bell pepper. They were served with tortillas and rice. It was super. For dessert we are served with lava cake. Perfectly sweet and fulfilling. We also ordered some nachos, the pinnacle of mexican snack. And it was hearthy and flavorful.

Every now and then, I like a big fat mothafuckin burrito! At Hacienda, their burritos are "wet" as you can see photo. Melted cheese and tomato sauce on top, simple vinaigrette salad on the side. I went for the shredded beef burrito and it was packed with meat! They have everything in it, salsa, guacamole, wait I think they missed out on the refried beans, but I don't care because its huge! Although, I wish they were generous with the sour cream and guacamole in there. Maybe, just forget about the salad and replace it with something else like.....nachos?! But overall, their burrito is a winner! I added a picture of chicken quesadilla, but I can't give my 2cents cause I didn't eat it. They gave us free nachos with salsa dip, which was nice, I asked for another plate because we were a party of 6, unfortunately it would be extra cost. That to me is a no no because the amount of free nachos should be proportional to the number of guests. But doesn't matter since their nachos lacked taste, and their salsa was more on the local side taste-wise. Oh, we also asked for more sour cream, and waitress was like "oh there's a charge" "hmmmmm, how much?" "25rb" nope! Forget about it. Its sauce! 25rb for more sour cream, heck no! Another downside to this place, my dad ordered hot chamomile tea, came in a pot of course. Halfway through dinner, as he was going to have his first sip, he noticed that the pot was still clear. He called the waiter and was like "whats up?" "Oh it takes time for the tea leaves to release its flavour" "well its been a while *opens pot* your tea leaves are not even enough!" "Oh...ok il take it to the kitchen and add more" boink! So I give this place a 4 because burrito was great.
