When the day off came, i asked my friends to hang out. I was glad they were agreed. So we made appointment to meet up at Grand Indonesia. We met at 2 p.m. we were so hungry because we didnt mind to eat lunch. Then we decided to went looked for the meal. One of my friend gave idea to eat at Sombrero, Mexican Cafe. She said the cafe was cozy, the food was yummy, and affordable. We agreed to had meal in there. We arrived at Sombrero. Sombrero actually is the name of Mexican's hat which is usually used by them for dance festival. Sombrero and Mexican can't be separated. Based of that, this cafe used that as a name. Talk about the concept, it seems like the owner tried so hard to make the cafe so Mexican. We can see sombrero at every part of wall, and cactus at customer's table to strengthen the brand image. The waiters and waitresses didnt forget to use sombrero also. Welcome to Mexico! How about the food? I ordered fried rice with two slices of grilled chicken, nachos, and beef rice which is covered by spring roll skin. We could find mozarella cheese above the spring roll skin. When the foods served in front of me, i taste it one by one. I tried nachos first. Nachos is mexican street food. The chef plating corn chip above mincemeat and formed it like crown. Above corn chips there were olive, minced tomato, and cheese. The taste was really delicious. I like it. The meat was savory with bold seasoning, the olive taste a lil bit bitter, the tomato taste a lil bit sour. The main point was the corn chip really crunchy, so it was perfect in my tongue. I couldnt stop to eating it. Then i tried fried rice. The flavour of fried rice kinda standard. But it helps by two slices of grilled chicken. I really enjoyed the taste of grilled chicken. Barbeque sauces made it so yummy. After that i eat beef rice with spring roll skin. It was splittable. When i ate it, i found another sensation with similiar taste. It reminds me of lasagna. My impression of this cafe was extraordinary. The weakness of this cafe was the portion of the food was small.

Tried this place through Daily Deals Website. Cant really say the best Mexican dishes I ever encountered.Received Beef corne Nachos . Tapas Sampler . Fried Rice . Churros. The Nachos' toppings was anything but satisfying, they could have dissolved it to make it looked alot more. The Tapas Sampler was a fun dish to deal with, quite entertaining. The Fried Rice was quite bland, well still acceptable as it should be.The Churros was definitely not the best I've ever had and I agreed with other Reviewers regarding the 'frozen' dark chocolate sauce.Bon ApettiteGolden
